Meet the Doctors
Terence J. Philbin, M.D.
Internal Medicine
Dr. Terence Philbin was born and raised in Pittsburgh. He graduated in 1977 from the University of Notre Dame with his bachelor's degree in Biology. He then went on to attend the Delnoreste School of Mexico. Dr. Philbin received his Doctorate of Medicine in 1983 from the Loyola Stritch School of Medicine, Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Philbin completed his internship and two year residency at the UPMC Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh in 1986. He sees office patients in Crafton, where he began his solo practice in 1986. He has been designated a diplomate of the Amercian Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Philbin provides teaching and training in his involvement with the Internal Medicine Residency Program at UPMC Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh. He is currently the interim chair of the Department of Medicine at UPMC Mercy Hospital. He is especially committed to his geriatric patients and cares for patients at the Marian Manor Nursing Home. In addition, Dr. Philbin coaches and assists during soccer and basketball seasons. Dr. Philbin and his wife, Anne, are "busy" parents to six children.
Rajal Patel, D.O.
Internal Medicine
Dr. Rajal Patel left the Upper St. Clair area where he was born and raised, to attend the University of Michigan. He received his bachelor's degree and then worked as a Biochemistry Research Assistant prior to attending the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. He received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999. His post-graduate training was conducted at UPMC Mercy Hospital where he performed his internship and residency from 1999 to 2002. Dr. Patel has been designated a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Patel joined Campbell & Philbin Medical Associates in August of 2002. He is available to patients in both the Crafton and UPMC Mercy Hospital offices. He is actively involved in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at UPMC Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Patel is married with three children.
Mary Jane Lloyd, C.R.N.P.
Family Nurse Practitioner
Mary Jane was born and raised in Pittsburgh. She completed both her bachelor's degree in Nursing and her master's degree for Family Nurse Practitioner at Duquesne University. Mary Jane has an extensive array of clinical experience, including, but not limited to, serving as clinical supervisor and central intake nurse at a hospice facility, serving as team leader and clinical staff nurse in home health care, and even serving as chief nurse and surgical supervisor in the Army Reserves. She acheived the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, Army Nurse Corps, USAR in 2006. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the Hospice and Palliative Care Nurses Association, and the Nurse Practitioner Association of Southwestern PA. Mary Jane was welcomed to Campbell & Philbin Medical Associates in 2007 and is available to patients in both the Crafton and UPMC Mercy Hospital offices.
